Born in the village of Sechenovo, Gorky region. Graduated, finished the art school (1957-1967). Working mainly in the landscape genre. Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1990. 1972 - the constant participant of regional exhibitions. Exhibitor of zonal ("Great Volga", 1991, 2003) art exhibitions.
