Born in Gorky. Graduated, finished the art school (1953-1958) and the Lviv state Institute of applied and decorative arts (1958-1964). Works in easel painting, mainly landscape and still life. Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1984. Since 1967 - a permanent participant of regional exhibitions. Exhibitor of zonal ("Great Volga" 2003), 6-th and 7-th international Symposium of wood sculpture ( Untertrubach, Germany, 1996; Volary, Czech Republic, 1997) art exhibitions. Solo exhibitions: N. Novgorod, 1993, 2003. He teaches at the NSPU.
