Honored artist of Russia (1982). Born in the city of Semenov, Nizhny Novgorod region. He graduated from vocational school. Gorky in 1946. Master artist of Khokhloma painting. Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1982. Since 1949, the constant participant of regional exhibitions. Exhibitor of zonal ("Great Volga", 1967, 1974,1980), Republican (Leningrad, 1966, Moscow 1968, 1969, 1980) art exhibitions. He taught at the school of artistic craftsmanship since 1976.
