Born in the city of Yaroslavl. He graduated from the Leningrad College of industrial arts. V. I. Mukhina (1965-1969). Works mainly in the field of manual artistic weaving (tapestry). A member of the Union of Russian artists since 1977. Since 1975 - participant of regional exhibitions. Exhibitor of zonal ("Great Volga", 1974, 1980), Republican (Moscow, 1978, 1980), all-Union (Moscow, 1977) art exhibitions.
