Born: Zhmerynka, Vinnytska oblast, Ukraine. He studied at the Kyiv Conservatory named after P. I. Tchaikovsky (1960), in the Moscow higher art College (1961-1962). Graduated from art faculty of LGITMiK (1965) and the directing Department kgiti name I. K. Karpenko-Kary (1973). Worked as an artist in the theaters of Vladimir, the chief artist of the academic theater the name of IK kgiti Karpenko-Kary. Artistic Director of over 20 productions in Dnepropetrovsk and Kiev Tyuzah. 1971 — artistic Director of the Kiev film Studio name A. Dovzhenko.
