Born in Krasnodar. He graduated from the art faculty of VGIK (1951). The participant of the great Patriotic war. From 1951 — artistic Director of the Kiev film Studio name A. Dovzhenko. Participates in national art exhibitions. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.
