Was born in d. Kostino-Otdele the Voronezh region In 1952 he graduated from the art faculty of VGIK (workshop of I. Spinel, F. Bogorodsky). From 1952 he worked as the art Director on the "thumbnail".
Honored artist of the RSFSR (1983).
