Laureate of the State prize of the USSR (1946 - "Great change", 1951 - "Mussorgsky", with A. Wechsler);

People's artist of the RSFSR (1969).

Nar. hood. Of the RSFSR (1969). Member of the CPSU(b) since 1945. Studied at the Saratov art. Uch-school. From 1927 the painter K.-article "Lenfilm". Designed by K.-f. "Thunderstorm" (1934), "Baltic Deputy" (1937) and Peter I (1937-39, both with V. Kalyagin), "the Great crisis" (1945), "Mussorgsky" (1951, with A. Wexler), "Alien kin" (1956), "Soldiers" (1957), "virgin soil upturned" (1960), etc. Winner of St. St. (1946, 1951).
