Biography and information
In 1827 he entered the Academy of Arts in 1833, adopted by state content. Received medals: in 1837 - 2 silver; in 1838 - 2 gold for the program "Joseph interpreting the dreams in prison". In 1839 - the title of the artist XIV class; in 1848, recognized as "designated". (Kondakov)
He was assigned to the part of the Beijing spiritual mission. Painted many portraits of katichev and scenery.
