Was born in Smolensk. He graduated from the Moscow higher art and industry (Stroganov) school. Member of the Union of artists since 1988. Since 1980 – participant of many all-Russian and all-Union exhibitions. Came to prominence with a series of color lithographs "the Village", dedicated to the anniversary of Vyazma. Laureate of the Russian-Dutch contest graphic artists, organized by the USSR Academy of arts. Works in easel and book graphics, cooperated with magazines "Zhili-byli", "Kukumber", "Murzilka". The artist's works purchased by the Ministry of culture, Art Fund of the USSR are stored in the Smolensk art and other museums of Russia and private collections abroad.
