Valery
Valentinovich Kostin

Born in 1962 in Sverdlovsk in the family of artists. He painted in the art studio of the Palace of Pioneers, whose leader was Razdrogin. The drawings by Kostin illustrated the film “Valkins of the Sail” according to V. Krapivin, produced by the Sverdlovsk Film Studio. In the Sverdlovsk Art School, which he graduated with honors, he studied under V.Ya. Then he entered the Surikov MGHI, where he studied from 1981 to 1987. in the workshop of DK Mochalsky at the faculty of "Painting".

In 1993 accepted as a member of the Union of Artists of Russia.

Kostin is a participant of more than 60 art exhibitions, starting from regional and ending with international ones. His works are in private collections in many countries.

Since 1991 teaches at the Ural State Academy of Arts and Architecture (Department of CCP).

The optimistic art of V.V. Kostin brings joy, instills a love for his native nature.
