Ian faith (niderl. Jan Fyt; March 15, 1611, Antwerp — 11 November 1661) was a Flemish painter and engraver.

Jan Fyt learned from Jan van den Berg and Frans Snyders until 1631 he worked in his workshop. In 1629-1630, he joined the Guild of artists. In 1633-1640. faith visited Paris and traveled to Italy. Contemporaries appreciate the artist for his hunting still lifes. In addition, faith wrote animals and still lifes with fruit and flowers. The works of Jan Fyt are stored in the galleries of Munich, Berlin, Vienna and Paris. Engravings of the artist dedicated to dogs and other animals.
