A graduate of the Academy of Arts from 1798 till 1809 he Received medals: in 1806 - 2 silver; in 1807 - the same; in 1809 - two 1 silver and 2 gold for the program: "Andromache mourning Hector"; in the same year issued the diploma of 1 degree with a sword. In 1810 - 1 gold medal: "Departure of the Grand Duke Dmitry Donskoy in the battle." In 1813 - academician of art medal for carved in stone the story: "Hercules, plunging into the sea the boy who brought him the poisoned garment"; whereas it was determined by the assistant chief medallist in the medal class of the Academy of Arts.
