Description of the artwork «Composition "Beginning" (Adam and Eve)»

It so happened that this work had several names.
Here is what the artist wrote in his diary about the creation of this work: “Yesterday I started one work ...
You think one thing, you do another, it turns out the third ... First I wanted to write a still life with flowers, but I started drawing from a woman's face in flowers, then I made a man’s profile on a woman’s face. Two faces in one. Then he decided to put abstract strands of paint on the right, then he went to sculpt various shapes of spots around the faces up and down, and all of it was mainly with lilac, yellow, raspberry, light green ... Uncertainty without end ... In general, this is a completely new beginning for me. I haven’t done such hooliganism yet. In some ways there is a roll call with modernity. I think to sell it or not? Why rush, and where? As an operating time, it represents curiosity. I suppose to call it the "Metaphor of Eternal Feeling." The colors are sad and joyful. I have not come down to color tragedy. ”

This is how this work began. It’s clear from the artist’s story that he painted intuitively, so over time, apparently, he came to realize that he wanted to appear in the light of God in this creation of his. And other names began to appear at work: “Adam and Eve”, “Eaten Apple”, “Composition“ Beginning ”. And they all convey the meaning that came to life in the picture: the age-old theme of the origin of the human race, transmitted in a symbolically symbolic manner. In the left half of the picture in one person Adam and Eve. The face is visible on the female face, but on it is the male profile. Bi-unity is natural - husband and wife. And this unity of theirs in paradise is surrounded by an ornamental-color composition symbolizing the paradise.
But if you look closely, you will notice that this two-headed head conveys the shape of an apple on a branch, broken from below - bitten off. The eaten apple is a sin, destroyed this paradise of two, and the current colors of the right half of the picture symbolize the destruction of their world.
We can say that the theme of the picture is relevant at all times. The paradise of two is destroyed by sin.
So, the artist, without realizing it at first, became a brush in the hands of the Higher powers, so that through his painting he would call people to protect love, not to break their happiness with a thoughtless, random act.
