Alekseevich Tomenko

Painter, graphic artist, poster artist. People's artist of Ukraine (since 1966). B. November 16, 1915 in the village of Velyka Rohozianka, now Kharkiv region - mind. 24 Oct 1994 in Kharkiv. The participant of the great Patriotic war. Graduated from Kharkiv art College (1934-38) and Kharkiv art Institute (1938-42), where he studied with M. Fedorov, S. Prokhorov, O. Khvostenko-Khvostov. HO member of the CFS since 1942. The participant of Republican, all-Union and international exhibitions since 1946. Personal exhibitions: Kharkiv - 1959,1965,1975, 1986; Odessa - 1959; lions - 1966; Kiev 1968; the town of Zolochiv (Kharkiv region) in 1990. Taught at KhSAI, assistant Professor (1949).
