Accepted to the Academy of Arts in 1767, he deserved during the course of small and large silver medals and, in the execution of bas-relief of the "Marriage of Isaac to Rebekah", was released in 1782; but, not having classes in their specialties, switched to architecture, and in 1788 became the Mogilev provincial architect.
