Born in the village of Pavlov, village of the Konstantinovsky Region of the don Cossacks. World-famous, outstanding Donskoy painter, graphic artist, sculptor, famed don Cossack figures in the history of the don "Cossack militia in 1812", "Bravery of the don Cossacks", "Rasines", "progress" etc. the author of the multi-figure bas-relief compositions on the building of the Rostov drama theatre named "the Death of the Vendee," and "the Iron flood", reliefs for the Soviet pavilion at the world fair (1939) in FLUSHIN Meadow near new York. S. G. Korolkov was the first Illustrator of the novel of M. A. Sholokhov "the Quiet don" (1932). His illustrations were recognized as the best.
