Nikolaevich Taranov

Biography and information

Member of the Union of artists of Russia and international Association of arts at UNESCO, member-correspondent of the International Academy of science teacher education (IASP) and member of Association of fine arts.

Taranov N. N. he graduated from the Ukrainian polygraphic Institute them. Ivan Fedorov, specialty "Graphics" in 1979. From 1983 to 1993 he headed the Department of design and illustrations of the book of UPI (Ukrainian printing Institute). He has two certificates for industrial design of new fonts and more design publications for children of preschool age. Led SNCB for the development and implementation of fonts for typesetting-printing machines Kirovograd "Pishmash". The author of five textbooks on the art of the font, the main ones are the "Handwriting font" (Lvov, 1986), "Art of handwriting" (Moscow, 1989), "Font and image" (Moscow, 1991). In 1983 he entered graduate school at the Moscow polygraphic Institute (scientific supervisor Professor, Department of HTOP Y. I. Chuvashev). In 1986 he defended the candidate's dissertation (art-industrial school im. Stroganoff) and received the academic title: PhD. In 1994, he received the title of Professor of the Department of design and illustration books UPI.

In the spring of 1994, returned to permanent residence in the Volgograd and was invited to work at Volgograd state pedagogical University. From 1 July 1994, is head of the Department of drawing and painting, Volgograd state pedagogical University.

In 2002 he received the title of corresponding member of International Academy of science teacher education (IASP). Participant of all-Russian, regional, city and University scientific conferences. He has several publications in Russian and international collections of scientific works. In 2002 he published a monograph "Artistic and image expressiveness of fonts" (Volgograd).

In 2003 he defended his doctoral dissertation at Moscow state pedagogical University, specialty 13.00.02 – theory and methodology of education and upbringing (visual art).
