Andrew Bazzaev - SKIF - was born on 7 October 1953 in the village Vasur South Ossetia.
In 1971 he graduated from secondary school in the village of Kirov.
From 1971 to 1977. he studied in the Tskhinvali art school named after M. S. Tuganov on the faculties of ceramics and painting at the educators B. I. Sanakoev, G. Kotaev, H. L Zasseeva.
Since 1978 lives and works in Saint-Petersburg.
