Roux

David Roux is a tireless dreamer and innovator of painting.

Vladislav Zubarev - poet and philosopher of art.

Their contribution to culture is priceless. All progressive-minded people need to know about their life and work. Without this knowledge, progress of modern art is impossible. The expressive dynamism of the development of the pictorial image, in the works of these artists gives rise to numerous associations. With the analytical development of the theme, the desired transformation takes place into any real object that can be realized. Everything is possible here - Architectural and industrial design, fashion, poetry. And so, we present! The first heroes of our project are David Roux and Vladislav Zubarev. Their canvases have been traveling around the world for a long time. But artists live in Russia. Because only at home you can create for real.

1950 - Born in Yerevan, Armenia.

1976 - 1981 - Studied at the Yerevan State Institute of Art and Theater, department of design.

1983 - 1985 - Head of the Exhibition Department, Museum of Modern Art, Yerevan.

1993 - 1995 - Chief artist of the Express Avangard Gallery, Moscow.

1994 - Entered the Creative Union of Artists of Russia and the International Federation of Artists.

1995 - Founded the Studio-13 gallery.

2003 - 2004 - Founded the Vernissage 1 + 20 gallery, and the Vernissage 1 + 20 magazine of the same name.

“Vernissage 1 + 20” is an exhibition and publishing project “Classics of an expressive

abstractionism of the mid-twentieth century and the beginning of the XXI century ”- St. Petersburg.

The exhibition exhibits works of contemporary art from the funds of the association of artists "DavidGroup".

Works are in museums and private collections in Armenia, Russia, USA, Germany,

France, Poland, Finland, Austria, Sweden, Japan.
