Born in 1946 in Leningrad. He graduated from the Leningrad art and graphic pedagogical school in 1966. In 1975 graduated from the higher school of industrial art named after V. I. Mukhina (faculty of design).
He participated in 27 exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Including 6 personal.
His paintings are in private collections in the Nordic countries, Germany, Poland, France, Malaysia, Australia, Malta island, USA, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, and Russia.
The artist worked not only in Russia but also abroad. The artist paints landscapes, still lifes and portraits.
