Was born in Leningrad in 1966. He studied at the secondary art school named after B. V. Ioganson at the Academy of arts of the USSR. In 1990 graduated from the Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture named after I. E. Repin Academy of arts of the USSR. Faculty of painting, workshop of Y. M. Neprintsev.
Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1992. Lives and works in Moscow.
