Ivanovich Baranov

Born September 14, 1936 in the village Kovchitsy 2nd Svetlogorsk district, Gomel region.In his native village in school, here de began to show an interest in art, and here the future artist has achieved the first successes in the fine arts. But the way of life of Victor Baranov was not so easy: he had to work in Bobruisk Forestry administration, head of the reading rooms in Cochico, a Turner at the Minsk automobile plant and other places. But all the time he was drawn to painting, and he enrolled in people's University of arts. N. K. Krupskaya in Moscow, graduating in 1961. Arriving in 1963 in Svetlogorsk, Baranov V. I. involved in the artistic life of the city takes part in the first exhibition of Amateur artists of Svetlogorsk in 1967, and subsequent annual exhibitions.

He was a participant of regional, Republican and all-Union exhibitions of Amateur artists. Since 1985 participates in Regional art exhibitions in Gomel and Republican in Minsk.

Baranov V. I. - one of those who started the exhibition activity in Svetlogorsk as an Amateur artist, but hard work and determination he has attained professionalism and in 1995 was accepted into the artists Union of the Republic of Belarus. Favorite genre of this artist are the landscape and still life. Lifes Baranova a variety of topics and different identity. Many of them are simple in composition, rich color scheme and reflect the emotional nature of the artist. But perhaps the greatest success he has achieved as a landscape painter. In the best sketches by the hand of a master, is capable of some true brush strokes to convey the feeling of excitement that gripped him at the sight of a motive.
