From 1996 to 2000, she lived in China, where he studied with artists of the Beijing Academy of painting technique of "Guo Hua" free style, on rice paper with ink and mineral and vegetable water colors. In her works Irina seeks to convey the beauty of nature and tries to make her paintings brought joy. When she was in China, this was a great opportunity to touch the ancient culture, to meet people, beautiful nature and of course with the amazing and mysterious Chinese painting. Teacher of Chinese painting say to draw soul and to understand the inner essence of the subject who draw. The figure of the "free" style has a certain understatement and allows you to "include" the imagination of the viewer, inviting him to share your creativity with the artist. In the creative process, the artist stares attentively at a blank sheet of paper lying in front of him while holding the image in my head of what he wants to portray and, when this image mentally begins to take its proper place on the paper, you need to quickly work with a brush, not allowing to spread the paint. If you lose a moment - the image disappears. Rice paper, used to draw thin, soft and instantly absorbs the paint. The artist must be well versed in technology, so the slightest stop leads to spreading of ink. But this style allows you to convey liveliness, frozen at the moment of the flower. Couching their reflections in the images of nature, the artist creates a world where the composition becomes an artistic metaphor, extended metaphor.

In the period 2003-2006, Irina has participated in more than 20 Moscow exhibitions: "Spring of hope" women artists of Russia, "Koktebel-Karadag", "Flowers-flowers", "Along the silk road," autumn exhibitions "of Akvazhivopis", 37 International Congress of Orientalists, at the exhibition "We, the Muscovites," in various exhibition halls of Moscow, in Dubna.
