Latif-zade A. graduated from art-industrial school in Moscow. In 1921-1924 he was a superintendent of a branch of the Bakhchisaray Museum in Coccoza (Yusupov Palace), and then taught drawing in school.
In 1930 he was arrested for anti-Soviet activities and until 1944 he served his sentence in the camps of Mordovia.
From the creative heritage Latif-zade were only black-and-white photographs of his drawings depicting girls dressed in national costumes, satirical portraits, costumes, urban landscape.
