Biography and information

Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

In 1949, he graduated from the MIPIDI, 1949 to 1954 he worked at LSHS. One of her first teachers was a glassblower B. A. Eremin. Great influence on creativity was rendered by V. I. Mukhina, and A. A. Uspensky. One of the first works E. I. Alekseeva was monumental vase "Suvorov", performed with the technique of deep etching. In 1956 – 1960 – chief designer of Department of the glass industry of Vilagrasa. Since 1960, the artist, the KPI of the Moscow branch of HF RSFSR. Worked on DKhZ, factories "Red may", and "Neman". Thieves (Moscow), in the 1970s produced on LSHS. For creativity is characterized by the use of laminated glass equipment diamond face matte and engraving. Created utilitarian forms of glassware, sculpture. The author of a study on the principles of creativity of Vera Mukhina in the glass, later this article was included in the book "the Soviet art glass", written jointly with N. Vladimir Voronov (Moscow, 1964). Works are in VMDPNI, Elaginoostrovsky Palace – Museum, Military history Museum of A.V. Suvorov (St. – Petersburg) and others.
