Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.
He served in the Legion (1943 – 44), from August 1944, the red army, after an injury in 1945, demobilized.
Art education he received at the Latvian State art Academy (1945 – 50) and greater teachers believed skrede A., and L. Swamps. For various reasons thesis the artist is not protected.
W. Bush worked as a teacher in the far East (1949), in Ukraine, Belogorsk (1950 – 55), Riga vocational school of printing (1955 – 69), and designer of the plant "Māksla".
In exhibitions he participated since 1971. Personal exhibitions are organized in Jurmala (1972, 1982, 1987), Riga (1975, 1980, 1985, 1988, 1992), ķekava, Ogre (1983), Jaunkalsnava (1984), Balvi (1989).
1973 W. Bush is a member of the Union of artists. He is an active member of the group of Jurmala artists.
The artist was awarded a diploma at the contest exhibition "Arona – 82" the triptych "Bread" (1983).
