"Leningrad" is a two-week literary and art magazine (formerly called "Rezets"), organ of the Leningrad branch of the USSR Writers' Union. Published in 1940-1946. He published mainly the works of Leningrad writers. During the Great Patriotic War, the magazine was dominated by frontline essays and correspondence, information about the life of the hero-city. The executive editors were S.L. Gorsky, V.M.Sayanov (from 1942), B.M. Likharev (from the end of 1944). The journal was closed in 1946 by the decree of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks "On the magazines" Zvezda "and" Leningrad "".
