Panchenko Leonid G. 1911 - 1980
Soviet painter. Uzbek artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
Born March 8, 1911. He lived and worked in Fergana, Uzbekistan. Panchenko wrote thickly, spaciously, brightly. At numerous exhibitions at that time, the craftsmen attracted the attention of not only local residents, but also foreigners. Panchenko is one of those who managed to sing his inspired song about the beauty of mountain waterfalls, flowering apricots, pink peaches. This artist has a special vision of color. He is generously endowed with a coloristic gift. Only the artist gifted with talent could convey the beauty of the Uzbek nature so vividly before the paintings of which one cannot stand without trembling excitement.
