Mikhail
Yakovlevich Pesin

(1915-2006) was a Soviet graphic artist and portraitist. A member of LOHS since 1964.
Born January 6, 1915 in Gorodnya, Chernigov Province. Studied at the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture of the All-Russian Academy of Arts. He worked in the technique of autolithography. In 1964-93 was a member of the Leningrad organization of the Union of Artists of the RSFSR. In 1993 he emigrated to the USA. Mikhail Yakovlevich died in 2006 (USA). His works are in the collections of the State Historical Museum, the ROSIZO Museum and Exhibition Center, the Anna Akhmatova Literary and Memorial Museum in the Fountain House in St. Petersburg and other museums of the Russian Federation.
