Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Painter, graphic artist, famous representative of the Transcarpathian art school. Born in Uzhgorod. In 1939 – 1944 he studied at the Budapest AH, the famous Hungarian masters A. Benkart, I. Boldizsar, E. Electi. Participant of regional, Republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions since 1949. For many years he taught at Uzhgorod HU. Solo exhibitions were held in Uzhgorod (1962, 1997) and Hungary (1977, 1987, 1989). Wrote genre paintings, portraits, landscapes and still lifes in the techniques of oil painting and watercolors. Works are kept in the Transcarpathian HMM they. I. bokshay and other museums of Ukraine and Hungary.
