Nikolayevich Pobedinsky

Aleksandr Pobedinsky is a graphic artist, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
1904  He was born in Moscow.
1926—1929 He studied at the Higher Art and Technical Institute (Vkhutein), Moscow.
1929—1931 He studied at the Moscow Textile Institute.
1920—1930s He worked actively in trade advertising.
Since 1935 he had been creating illustrations for the Pioneer, Vozhaty, Zateynik magazines, designed brochures, made political posters. The artist participated in advertising poster competitions for the Ministry of Food Industry (1st place) and for safety measures poster (2nd place).
1950—1970s He worked at the Centre for International Exhibitions (projects of art and industrial exhibitions of the USSR abroad: Prague, Milan, Lyon, Paris, Montreal, Bangkok, Vienna, Tunis, Utrecht, Brussels, Addis Ababa, etc., also panels and posters for exhibitions).
1979 The artist died in Moscow.
