In 1949 he graduated from Ilya Repin Institute in the I. E. Repin, the workshop of Victor Oreshnikov.
Had studied of Semion Abugov, Boris Fogel, Mikhail Bernshtein, and Igor Grabar.
Participant of exhibitions since 1949.
Member of the Leningrad Union of artists since 1949.
He painted landscapes, portraits, still lifes, genre paintings.
