Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Graduated from MVHPU (1953), pupil of G. Motovilov, and S. Rabinowitz. Participant and a disabled veteran. Lived and worked in Moscow, exhibited during his life but abroad. Nonconformist artists, are constantly subjected to harassment by the authorities. Expressive, plastically active sculptural composition "monument to the dead from bombs" (1965), "heart Surgery" (1966), "Formula of sorrow" (1972), "Einstein" (1976), "monument to the victims of love" (1984), "Crying", 1985), tombstones academicians E. S. Varga (1968) and I. E. Tamm (1973), easel graphics, etc. The author of the collection of poems "The happy autumn", vol. autobiogr. prose "Monuments of the modern state" (published posthumously in 1990-92).
