Lidia I. Speranskaya (March 30, 1910 - November 8, 1982) - Soviet theater and graphic artist, author of book and magazine illustrations for children. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Born in Kostroma in the family of doctor I.F. Speransky and Sophia Deminskaya. Moving to Moscow in the late 20s. Received an art education. She worked in theaters in Moscow as an artist-designer and costume designer. During the Great Patriotic War, she worked in Moscow, including participating in the disguise of the Bolshoi Theater in order to protect against enemy bombardments. Marriage with artist Mikhail Cesarevich Rabinovich.
