Born in D. Bosakova of Kashinsky district of Tver province. In 1940 he graduated from the Taurian art school in Leningrad. In the same year drafted into the Red Army. Participated in the great Patriotic War. He has government awards. In 1947 he entered the Academy of fine arts in 1953. ends faculty of painting at the workshop of B. V. Ioganson. In 1954. he headed the Art Studio at DC Ties (adult and child). In 1960 participates in the all-Union exhibition in Moscow with the work of the "Young artist". In the same year became a member of the Leningrad branch of Union of Artists. From 1965 to 1985 along with the job in DC "Communication" taught at the artistic secondary school for the deaf in Pavlovsk. During the period of study at the Academy of fine arts. participated in two geological expeditions to Siberia as an artist. The result of these expeditions was his diploma work - painting "Geologists" in the Museum of the Academy of arts. Take an active part in the artistic decoration of the city for the celebration of the Soviet and revolutionary pronikov, the author of the posters. Actively participated in all-Union, regional and city exhibitions. Retrospective personalna masters took place after his death in 1990. in the halls of the Leningrad branch of Union of artists. After the death of most of the works acquired by the French galleries.
