Born August 3, 1929 in the village of Upper Santoy Ivolginsk district of the Buryat ASSR.
In 1953 he graduated from the Irkutsk art school (studied under A. Zhibinov and A. K. Rudenko).
In 1959 — graduated from Leningrad higher art-industrial school im.In.And.Mukhina, Department of ceramics and glass (studied with A. B. Smirnova). After graduation he came to work in the Buryat branch of art Fund of RSFSR.
In 1960 he was invited to Kiev factory of artistic glass.
In 1967 he returned to Ulan-Ude.

Participant of the II decade of Buryat art and literature (1959, Moscow).

From 1956 — participant of Republican, Russian, zonal, all-Union and international exhibitions, including personal in an Art Museum. C. S. Sampilov (1967, 1980, 2000,Ulan-Ude).

Worked in the technique of ceramic, fireclay, glass, graphics.

The author of works: vases — "Green sea" (1964), "Nacre" (1965), "Sunflowers"(1966), "Sheep" (1960), "Ekhor" (1959); sculpture — "Friends" (1965), "Glee" (1967), "arrow" (1969); panel — "BAM. The Severomuisk tunnel, the" (1978), "surharban" (1972), etc.

Major works are in the state art Museum of them. C. S. sampilov(Republic of Buryatia), in museums of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev and in private collections.

Died 22 July 2006.
