Biography and information

Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

Born in the village of Podhorany, now Transcarpathian region. In 1954 he graduated from Lviv state Institute of decorative and applied art, faculty of monumental painting. Teachers with a degree were Y. bokshay and R. SEL. Spiritual teacher and mentor was A. Erdeli. Since 1960 – member of the CFS. Until 1972 he lived and worked in Uzhgorod, where he taught at Uzhgorod College of applied art (1954 – 1961). In 1972 he moved to Kiev. Since 1957 it takes part in almost all Republican and most of the all-Union art exhibitions. Working in the field of genre and landscape painting. He exposed his paintings in Austria, Belarus, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Japan. His works are in museums and private collections.
