In 1933 he graduated from the Repin Institute of arts in. She studied under Alexander Savinov, Arcady Rylov, Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin. Participant of exhibitions since 1941.
Member of the Leningrad Union of artists since 1955.
He painted portraits, city and landscapes, still lifes, genre paintings.
Taught at the higher school of industrial art named after V. I. Mukhina (1947-1949). Founder and Director of art Studio of the Vyborg House of Culture (1949-1971).
Personal exhibitions in Leningrad (1962, 1973, 1983, 1989).
