He graduated from the production faculty of the School-Studio of the Moscow art theatre in 1985 (course of A. Zaytseva) and was invited to work at the Art theatre. As an artist-designer worked on the creation of most of the performances of the current repertoire.

He has designed productions "Dear citizens!", "Little tragedies. The first part", "Indian Kingdom", "Christmas dreams" (assistant art Director), "Forest song", "Sonia". In the Theater "Et cetera" in 1997, he designed the play "the Dark lady of the sonnets"; in the Theater of A. S. Pushkin "the Gypsies"; the "globe" Theatre (Novosibirsk) — "My feel of love is running".
