Abdulov Usman Nazmutdinovich. (1922 - 2010)

Theater artist, painter, Honored Worker of Culture of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan.

September 17, 1922 was born in Kazan.

1941 - graduated from Kazan Art College.

1941-52 - worked in the theater of musical comedy in Magadan.

1952-54 - participated in the formation of the youngest type of fine art in Tatarstan.

1954-59 - art designer of the Tatar Opera and Ballet Theater.

From 1959 to 1983 he worked as the chief artist of the Kazan television studio.

1980 - Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.

1972 - Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan.

1983-88 - Director of the exhibition hall of the Union of Artists of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.

2004 - People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan.

He died on January 14, 2010 in Kazan.

A special place in his creative heritage is occupied by lyrical landscapes and still lifes, many of which are exhibited in museums of Tatarstan.

He created the sketches of the scenery for television productions are laconic and clear compositional decisions, thoughtful, taking into account the specifics of television, the distribution of light and shadow.

Perfection of the artist’s skill was greatly facilitated by his studies in 1977-1978. in Moscow at the All-Union Institute for Advanced Studies of the USSR State Committee on Radio and Television.

Successes U.N. Abdulov in the decoration of television performances was reflected in the press, in letters of honor, which were repeatedly awarded to the artist.

In 1975, U.N. Abdulov became the laureate of the 4th All-Union Festival of Television Films in Tbilisi for the musical film “Kirlay”.

His spring landscapes are imbued with a voiced major mood. Still lifes are carefully thought out and compiled, filled with special colorfulness. U.N. Abdulov created a number of major works of the domestic genre: 1992, “In Memory of M. Tsvetaeva”; 1997 "Little Tukai at the Haymarket"; 1999 "Song Festival" Soloists of the Opera House and the State. Philharmonic; 2002 "Saban Tui" for the millennium of Kazan.

Art U.N. Abdulova is optimistic in nature. His works teach to notice beauty in the ordinary, everyday, deliver the aesthetic pleasure to the viewer.
