In 1921 he graduated from the Higher state artistic and industrial workshops, where he studied with P. Subbotin and N. Gushchina. In 1926-1930 studied in VHUTEINe at the Department of easel painting in the Studio of A. Shevchenko. A member of the AHR, a member of MOSH.
