An auditor student at the Academy of fine arts. Received medals: in 1834 – 2 silver; in 1835 – 1 silver; in 1837 – 2 gold for the "draft Grand-Ducal Palace"; in 1842 – 1 gold for the "project of the theatre for 2,000 people." In 1835 the title of a free artist; in 1842 – the title of the artist XIV class and in the same year was sent by the pensioner of Academy of arts abroad.
