Russia • born in 1909

Hereditary master glassblower. From 1924 to 1948 he worked at the factory "Red giant", in 1948 - 1972 – LSHS. The foreman of the experimental brigade of blowers. In 1968 he was awarded the title "master artist". Created decorative vessels and vases, bowls, cups, glasses, Cutlery for water and wine sets, animal sculptures. For creativity is characterized by the use of techniques of the wide edge, engraving, free-blown technique. Thanks to the efforts of B. A. Eremin, V. F. Lyulyukina, E. I. Alekseeva, Y. Batanov managed to restore the technique of the Venetian thread, which the master used in a number of his works. Participant of many national and international exhibitions, including world exhibitions in Brussels (1958), all-Union art exhibition "Art in life" (1961, diploma of II degree.) Awarded a silver (1959) and gold (1960) medals VDNH USSR, received the first prize of the national competition of master glass blowers, held at the Dyatkovo crystal plant (1969). Works are in VMDPNI, Elaginoostrovsky Palace – Museum, etc.
