Training in WAH was held at the faculty of architecture.

Graduated from the Leningrad. AH (1930), a disciple of I. Fomin and V. Shchuko. From 1930 he lived and worked in Moscow. One of the authors (V. Gelfreich, etc.) project a multistory garage (1936-41), B. Stone bridge (1942-52), the Park at Pushkin square (1950), a high-rise building of the foreign Ministry on Smolensk square (1948-52), the metro station "Prospect Mira" (1952), residential buildings on Smolenskaya square (1956-63) and others in Moscow.
