1954 – graduate from the State Academy of Arts of Latvia, Department of monumental painting (diploma work – "fishermen in the Port of Skulte" under the leadership Of Skulme).

1970 – Thesis "Reklama market in the Latvian prikladnoi graphics", Estonia, Tartu.

1971 – Candidate of art history.

1954 – 78 – Clan of the Union of Artists of Latvia was renewed in 1989.

The artist created the first art programs on Television and Radio Latvia.
