1920. year, Cialas participated in exhibitions.
With 1923. was a member of the Riga Art Union.
His paintings were exhibited in all the exhibitions, which were organized by the Latvian Cultural Foundation and the exhibitions, which clearly represented the Latvian government (the prizes of the Cultural Foundation in 1931, 1935).
In 1930. year the first personal exhibition.
1944. – Emigration to Germany and then to Austria, where he perfected the Art Institute.
1946. – Began in Paris in the community of "Societe Nationale des Beaux – Arts" a lifetime companion. Participated in all exhibitions of this organization in Paris.
1949. years lived in the United States.
In 1957. year organized a personal exhibition in art salon R. Kalnina "Art salon of France."
During his exile he lived only with income from professional activities.
He wrote genre scenes - views of dining, types of rink and portraits (and a registered representative).
