National architect of the USSR (1988), full member AH (1983). One of the leading architects in the reconstruction and development of Moscow (South-West borough, a circus, University of friendship of peoples. Lumumba; 60-70-ies.). The architectural part of the monument to Soviet soldiers in Treptow Park in Berlin (1946-49) and at Mamaev Kurgan in Volgograd (1963-67). Lenin prize (1970), State prize of the USSR (1950). State prize of the Russian Federation (1994, posthumously).
