Born October 18, 1900 in the village of Mordovo Muravlyanskiy district of the Ryazan province in the family of peasants.

From 1918 to 1922 in the composition of the 146th infantry regiment, he defended the Soviet Republic....

... in 1922, he entered the Kiev State Art Institute Department of painting in class of Professor FG Krichevsky. In 1928 he graduated with a degree of artist of painting.

...In 1927 in the group of students under the direction of Krichevsky Alex took part in making decorations for clubs Makiivka Metallurgical plant. In 1928-1930, he is constantly on the travel from the Association of Artists of red Ukraine (AHCHOY) in the cities and villages of Ukraine engaged in the design of clubs, posters, decorations (Kharkov Palace of Labor, Yenakiyevo –the Palace of Culture. CXG, etc.), portraits for exhibitions "Socalsteve stepping". During these years he became a member of two all-Ukrainian exhibitions . They were represented by his painting “In the rolling shop”, portraits of workers.

1941 – again war, and again Alexei Vasilievich went to the front to fight. In 1943 he was seriously injured. But the war in between battles and in hospitals he was drawing. The family carefully preserved his drawings of the war years. The pencil is aptly, for centuries captured the sleeping woman in the figure of "Minute break on the labor front for cleaning of the front road in the Tula region"...

...After the war, countries returned to a peaceful course. Alexey actively involved in the life of the Moscow Union of artists. ...
