Biography and information

Born in Vilnius on 12 may 1945, Since 1963, began to draw in the logs, and the first book in the publishing house has issued in 1965 In 1965 for the first time participated in the annual exhibition of Moscow book charts. In 1970 he entered the Moscow polygraphic Institute, faculty of book graphics. In 1971 he joined the Youth branch of Union of artists of the USSR. I graduated from the Academy in 1975 under the leadership of A. D. Goncharov. In 1974 he joined the Union of journalists of the USSR (the section of artists of press), in 1983 the Union of artists of the USSR, in 1993 the international art Fund. Worked at major publishing houses "Soviet Russia", "Children's literature", "Young guard", etc. Almost every year my books took part in the USSR – and then national competitions. Received more than thirty diplomas, and in 1990 and 1997 diplomas to them. Ivan Fyodorov – the highest award of the contests of the book.

Among the authors feature books by J. Verne, C. Scott, F. Cooper, W. Collins, S. Aksakov, Br. Grimm, A. Belyaev, R. Bradbury, M. Sholokhov, I. Ilf and E. Petrov, S. Marshak, V. Astaf'ev and many others.

Participated in Moscow, Republican, all-Union and international exhibitions. Has had personal exhibitions in Moscow, Stupino, Kashira, Zaraysk, Moscow, Lukhovitsy.

My first work in print appeared in 1965 designed and illustrated over 500 books, illustrations made a few thousand, a lot of graphic works, sketches, paintings.
